Three panels of experts convened at the Swiss Foundation for World Affairs to examine the possible outcomes of the "Geneva Initiative," a proposed model for settlement of issues between Israel and Palestine. Discussions focused on the origins, content, and objectives of the Geneva Initiative, and how it relates to the Roadmap to Peace and the two state solution. Panelists also looked ahead at where such an initiative, which grew out of private initiatives within civil society, will lead and how it can impact lasting peace in the Middle East.
